Who would have thought beach and rugby would make a good combination? Well we did.
Melbourne’s beaches are looking for teams of 10 to compete and see who will be the last team standing. The game is simple, 5 per side, 5-minute halves, played on a 25 x 35m field, making it even more fast-paced and intense than ever. There are no scrums, no line outs, and no crying if you lose. A full day of Rugby, Sun, Surf, and Music.. what more could you honestly ask for.? There are both Men and Women’s divisions.
Find yourself a group of friends who are as crazy as you to form a team
$275 per team ($27.50 per person for a team of 10)
The day is pumping with music and adrenaline, so get involved! Who said rugby is a winter sport.
Beach rugby is a full contact sport and may cause side effects such as next day soreness & try time fever. Beach rugby is not for the faint hearted. If pain persists take 2ml of “TOUGHEN UP KID” with a mouthful of “GET A GRIP”. Beach rugby is a physical sport. If you believe it is too rough, take up knitting or come down and build sand castles.
